Leave requests that have been submitted first need to be recalled or rejected and then can be edited from within the Leave Requests option, if needed.
How to edit a leave request after submitting:
For leave requests with a status of Approved or Pending: If an approved leave request has not yet been brought into a batch of Employee Absences or Pay Period Entries (or processed on the FMLA screen in the Employee File, if applicable) or a leave request is pending, the leave request can be recalled by the user who entered the request or by the employee for whom the leave request was made and then edited and resubmitted, or else cancelled or deleted. To recall a leave request (and then edit and resubmit, or else cancel or delete), complete the steps for recalling a leave request.
For leave requests with a status of Rejected: If a leave request has been rejected, the leave request can be edited by the user who entered the request or by the employee for whom the leave request was made and then resubmitted, or else cancelled or deleted. To make changes to a rejected leave request and resubmit it, complete the steps for editing a leave request before submitting; otherwise, complete the steps to cancel or delete a rejected requisition.
