Requisitions entered (created) by the user with a status of Unsubmitted or Rejected can be edited from within the Requisitions option, if needed.
Tip: Requisitions with a status of Approved or Pending would first need to be recalled and then can be edited (only applicable if requisitions are allowed to be recalled as defined within the Requisition Options, and only for approved requisitions not yet converted to purchase orders); if needed, refer to Editing a Requisition After Submitting.
How to edit a requisition before submitting:
Select the Requisitions menu (or select the Requisitions menu and then Requisitions).
On the Requisitions screen, select the Requisitions tab if not already selected.
Note: The Requisitions tab is only available if the user has rights to enter requisitions (within the User Security option).
The requisitions previously entered by the user in the last six months display showing the applicable status (Unsubmitted, Pending, Approved, Rejected, or Cancelled). If desired, change the filters to modify the requisitions listed on the screen.
Click the More (…) button to the right of the requisition to edit and select View/Edit, or double-click on the requisition.
Make the desired changes to the requisition.
To add a new line item to the requisition, complete the blank line at the bottom of the list within the detail section.
To delete a line item from the requisition, click the Delete button to the right of the desired line, and then click the Delete button when prompted.
Comments for the requisition can be changed as follows:
To change a comment, click the More (…) button to the right and select Edit; then make the changes and click the Save button.
To delete a comment, click the More (…) button to the right and select Delete; then when prompted, click the Delete button.
Note: Users can only edit or delete a comment they entered.
To view or edit the bids or quotes received for a line item, click in the Bids field; then on the Bids screen, view or edit the bids as needed and click the Close button when finished.
After all the changes have been made, click the Save button, and then complete the steps to submit the requisition.
