Classic Reports Option

Prev Next

The Classic Reports option allows a user to print a report. Only the Web Link reports that are assigned to the user (in the User Security option) are able to be generated.

When generating reports containing employee information from Payroll, Human Resources, or Negotiations using the Classic Reports option, only data for the user currently logged in will be included on the report, unless the Employee Groups List is completed for the user in the User Security option with the appropriate usage (PR WL Reports, HR WL Reports, and/or NG WL Reports) selected.  This is applicable for all Payroll, Human Resources, and Negotiations reports containing Employee ID and Employee Group ID report parameters (or Substitute Employee ID and Substitute Employee Group ID report parameters, if applicable). If the user does not have the Employee Groups List completed within the User Security option, the Employee ID and Employee Group ID report parameters (or Substitute Employee ID and Substitute Employee Group ID report parameters, if applicable) become hidden when generating the report using the Classic Reports option and the Employee ID report parameter (or Substitute Employee ID report parameter, if applicable) is automatically completed with the user's employee ID.

When generating reports containing purchase orders or requisitions from Accounts Payable using the Classic Reports option, only data the user entered will be included, unless the user has rights to approve requisitions and is defined as an approver in an approval tree. This is applicable for all Accounts Payable reports containing a User ID report parameter, as the User ID report parameter becomes hidden when generating the report using the Classic Reports option and is automatically completed with the user's ID if the user does not have rights to approve requisitions and is not defined as an approver in an approval tree. If desired, the Requisition Status Report for All Users is available and does not contain a User ID report parameter; thus a user can generate this report to view the status of all requisitions, including those entered by other users, as long as the report is assigned to the user within the User Security option.

Note:  The Classic Reports option is only available to users defined with rights to at least one Web Link report (within the User Security option).
